Learn the Japanese art of kokedama with Cathrina of Cat Hawk Gardens, affectionately known as The Kokedama Mama. In this hands-on workshop, you'll create two living moss ball planters while learning the traditional techniques used to shape, wrap, and care for these unique botanical sculptures.

We'll begin with a gentle Self-Breema movement practice to help settle into the creative process before working with plants, moss, and natural fibers to build your kokedama.

In this workshop,  you'll:

  • Learn the fundamentals of traditional kokedama
  • Create two moss ball planters to take home
  • Learn how to wrap, bind, and care for your finished kokedama

You'll leave with two handmade kokedamas and the knowledge to continue this beautiful practice long after the workshop.

COST: $150 per person (includes supplies for making 2 Kokedamas)
