Discover the magic of botanical color in this hands-on bundle dyeing workshop with Hanna the Wool Witch. Using dried natural dye flowers and materials, you’ll create one-of-a-kind patterns on silk through the process of wrapping, bundling, and steaming—revealing layered imprints shaped by season, plant, and chance.

In this workshop you’ll:

  • Learn the fundamentals of botanical bundle dyeing
  • Explore how different plants create color and pattern
  • Practice arranging and wrapping techniques for clear imprints
  • Steam and reveal your finished designs

Each participant will create and take home one square silk scarf and one rectangular silk scarf. You’ll leave with the confidence to continue experimenting with botanical dyeing at home.

No prior dye experience is required. All materials are provided. Wear clothes that can handle a little color and come ready to experiment.

All fees are non-refundable. If cancellation is made AT LEAST 7 days before the workshop date, a store credit will be issued as a digital gift certificate that may be applied to any future class or used in the retail store.

Classes are transferable. If you cannot find someone to take your spot, please email info@gathersebastopol.com and we will offer it to the waitlist (if any).

If a class doesn't meet the minimum registration, we reserve the right to cancel up to 24 hours before the class and will offer a credit, refund, or reschedule.
