The Art of Kokedama | Saturday, October 11
Date: Saturday, October 11, 1 - 3 pm
Join us for a hands-on journey into the Japanese art of kokedama—living plant arrangements wrapped in moss. In this workshop, you’ll learn the traditional techniques of forming and binding moss balls, while exploring the balance of beauty, simplicity, and nature that defines this practice.
Guided by Cathrina of Cat Hawk Gardens—The Kokedama Mama—you’ll create your own kokedama to take home, along with the skills to continue making more on your own. No prior experience is needed; just bring curiosity and a love of plants.
This workshop also includes a gentle, grounding Self-Breema movement practice to help you connect body and mind before diving into your creative work.
You’ll leave with:
-
A handmade kokedama crafted by you
-
Step-by-step knowledge to make more at home
-
A deeper appreciation for this mindful art form
COST: $120 per person (includes supplies for making Kokedamas)
