Sewing Workshop: Crossback Linen Apron
Dates: June 10th and June 24th, 10am - 2pm
Join us for this 2-session hands-on sewing workshop where you'll learn essential techniques, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling fabric pieces, sewing pockets, and topstiching. We'll teach you how to use a sewing pattern to make a stylish and functional cross-back linen apron. Aprons are great in the kitchen, in the garden, and for arts and crafts projects.
Please bring your own sewing machine in good working condition, with the power cord, foot control, and all accessories. This class is suitable for students of all skill levels and beginners are welcome.

Note: Class cost is $240 + materials. Materials cost will be emailed out the week before class.
Bring to class: Sewing machine with power cord, foot control, all attachments and instruction manual, if available. Bring your own water, drinks, snacks, or lunch. Do you need your reading glasses, a sweater, or a cushion to sit on?

Instructor: Shannon Marshall, the owner of Sonoma County Sewing Company, has been a professional seamstress since 1998. Her experience also includes teaching sewing since 2005, and she has been a local business owner since 2017. Throughout her career, Shannon has collaborated with numerous local designers and small businesses, producing their prototypes, samples, and custom orders.
