In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn the fundamental stitches that form the foundation of embroidery and gain confidence in starting your first project. With instructor-led guidance, you’ll begin your own embroidery kit—handpicked from our curated selection in the shop before class begins.

More than just a skill, embroidery offers a way to slow down, focus your hands and mind, and create something lasting and beautiful. Whether you’re looking for a mindful craft, a way to connect with others, or a creative practice that helps you unplug, this class is the perfect starting point.

No prior experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to stitch something new! Class instruction will start at 10 am, but we ask that you come early to choose your embroidery kit!

Cost: $90. Embroidery kit from our store selection included in your class cost.

All fees are non-refundable. If cancellation is made AT LEAST 7 days before the workshop date, a store credit will be issued as a digital gift certificate that may be applied to any future class or used in the retail store.

Classes are transferable. If you cannot find someone to take your spot, please email info@gathersebastopol.com, and we will offer it to the waitlist (if any).

If a class doesn't meet the minimum registration, we reserve the right to cancel up to 24 hours before the class and will offer a credit, refund, or reschedule.
