Have you always wanted to knit but didn’t know where to start? This warm, beginner-friendly 2-part class is the perfect way to begin your fiber journey. Whether you’ve never picked up needles or need a gentle refresher, we’ll guide you from the first stitch to your first finished project.
Over the course of two sessions, you’ll learn:
- How to cast on
- The knit stitch + the purl stitch
- How to bind off and finish a project
- Foundational techniques that will set you up for future projects
You’ll leave class with the confidence to knit your first handmade piece—and a new creative ritual to return to again and again.
✨ Please note: Materials are not included. You’ll need:
- One skein of Malabrigo Worsted
-
Size 8 or 9 needles (either 24” circular or straight needles)
All materials are available for purchase at the shop before class begins. You get 10% off materials and all purchases made on the day of class.
Why two sessions?
Learning something new takes time. This format gives you space to practice, ask questions, and feel supported throughout the process.
